Renting an apartment in Darzini
Dārziņi is the most remote gardening district on the far southwest of Riga. This is practically a cottage settlement within city limits with minimal prices and minimal infrastructure.
- Active listings
- 0
The area consists almost entirely of garden plots and small houses. The permanent population is very small, mainly retirees. Many plots are used only in summer as cottages.
Infrastructure is practically non-existent — perhaps one small shop for the entire area. There are no schools, kindergartens, or clinics. Public transport may run several times a day.
Dārziņi is an option exclusively for those seeking the cheapest temporary housing or planning to do gardening. Poorly suited for permanent residence.
